I recently stayed at the Adventure Centre in Rocky Harbour for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The private room was lovely, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoyed having a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of seating areas, both inside and outside. The fire pit and front and back decks were a bonus. It was convenient to have a pharmacy nearby, and the local restaurants and main area were just a short drive away. a fantastic stay!

    Totally recommend this hotel.

For the price, the value was fantastic. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. The location was convenient and within walking distance of the beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and even offered guided backcountry hiking tours in Gros Morne National Park. Highly recommend!

The food for breakfast could have been better, but the overall experience made up for it.

The value for money at Out East Adventure Centre was excellent, with a spacious and comfortable room, friendly staff, and a convenient location for exploring Gros Morne and the surrounding parks. The shared kitchen and living space were also great amenities.

The breakfast option could be improved with a wider variety of choices.

The kitchen facilities at Out East Adventure Centre were incredibly well stocked and allowed us to cook our own meals easily. We also appreciated the helpful staff who provided great information about the area. The option to store our extra gear and arrange shuttle service to the trailhead was a huge convenience. The location within Gros Morne National Park was ideal for exploring the park.

The price was great, especially for budget travelers like myself. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The hostel was clean and had all the basic amenities I needed, including a communal kitchen with a fridge, microwave, stove, and coffee maker. I also enjoyed the social aspect of the hostel, as I got to meet new people from all walks of life.

There were a couple of downsides to my experience. the noise level was quite high, especially in the evenings and early mornings.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hostel. the facilities were impressive, with well-constructed and spacious bunk beds that had privacy curtains, lights, and outlets. the hostel provided clean linens and towels upon arrival, and the kitchen was fully stocked for cooking. the availability of laundry facilities was a bonus, and each dorm-style room had its own bathroom. the hostel was very clean and the location was perfect for exploring the Gros Morne region.

    Felt fine, no complaints.

Well-stocked kitchen and friendly staff. The well-equipped kitchen was a major plus, allowing us to cook our own meals. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area, providing us with great tips and even offering shuttle services to the trailhead.

Lack of heating in late September and thin walls. Unfortunately, the room did not have heating, making it a bit chilly during our stay.

I had such a great stay at this place! The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The location was incredibly convenient, being right in the heart of Gros Morne National Park. I had the best sleeps here, thanks to the comfortable bed in my spacious room. The private bathroom with a nice shower was a bonus. I also loved the fact that they offered guided backcountry hiking tours in the park. I joined one and was blown away by the spectacular scenery of Western Brook Pond from the top of the mountain. The guides were fantastic and gave us so much interesting information. And let's not forget about their adorable cat – such a cutie! I highly recommend this place if you're visiting Gros Morne.
